On March 1^st, 2020 in Centrum Kultury Teatr in Grudziądz a formal gala took place to celebrate the 100^th Anniversary of the Polish Aviation in the area of Grudziądz. “Lotniczy Grudziądz” Foundation was the initiator of these celebrations and a lot of people took part in the gala, among others: aviators trained in Grudziądz with Mirosław Hermaszewski in the lead, as well as instructors and many other people to whom the aviation tradition of the town is very close.

On the 23rd of January 2020 we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of a return of Grudziądz to the Motherland. It was exactly 100 years ago when each and every inhabitant of the city of Grudziądz gave in to a sublime and patriotic mood. In just about 2-hour time every mansion and tenement house was being decorated with white and red flags. Every person desired to greet the Polish Army which precisely at 2PM entered the City under the command of General Stanisław Pruszyński.
